Bahrain National Holding Company (BNH) – the parent company of Bahrain National Insurance (bni) and Bahrain National Life Assurance (bnl) announced the appointment of Mrs. Maryam Alahmed as the Senior Manager for Human Resources for the Group. Alahmed’s appointment comes in line with the Group’s continued efforts geared towards human capital development.
Maryam has joined BNH bringing with her a wealth of experience of over 18 years in the Human Resources field across a variety of sectors. Her current role entails leading the Operational HR Team and Learning & Development programs, as well as performance management, career growth, team development and Bahrainization. She is also responsible for ensuring that the human capital initiatives support BNH’s overall strategic objectives.

Maryam holds degrees in Computer Science from University of Bahrain, Master of Human Resources Management from Depaul University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Innovation with Arabian Gulf University (AGU), her topic of research is “The impact of HR practices on Innovative Work Behavior.”
