BNH and subsidiaries have contributed to supporting the National Afforestation Campaign “Forever Green” launched by the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD). The Group is supporting the campaign which aims to plant over 25,000 trees in 40 sites in different governorates by afforestation of four different sites in Muharraq and Sitra.
The inauguration ceremony of the site took place in the presence of the Secretary-General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works for Municipalities Affairs, Eng. Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Eng. Ibrahim Al Jowder, the General Director of Muharraq Municipality, Mr. Adnan Al Sada, Director of Social Affairs Programs at the Muharraq Governorate, Mr. Sami Zainal, Board Member at BNH, Mr. Masoud Bader, Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Bashayer Dhaif, Senior Corporate Communications Manager & ESG Officer and Ms. Haifa Mansour.
